The Christian Right preaches morality and wants to beat everyone with their brand of morality. They want you to believe that they are wholesome individuals who don't copulate. Well guess what? They f*ck, too. In fact, they f*ck married people the whole time they're preaching about immorality and preaching God bless America. They see homosexuality as a sin, but don't see their own adulterous ways as sinful. It's more of a "do as I say and not as I do" type of thing with them.
If God were going to destroy the country for sin, their adulterous tendencies would far outnumber the gays. Up to 37% of men and 22% of women admit to having affairs. Think of how many DIDN'T admit it. We had one very high profile example in public office who got impeached for saying he didn't have an affair with "that woman." A lesser known fact is that those who divorce rarely marry the person with whom they are having the affair. According to Woman Savers website, "Only 3 percent of the 4,100 successful men surveyed eventually married their lovers." They also say that 90 percent of Americans believe adultery is morally wrong and that only 35 percent thought that adultery should be a crime in the United States. How many hypocrites does that make?
I know how enticing married people can be, but look at the facts. One statistic they seem to hae left out is what percent of that 3 percent of 4,100 successful men who married their lovers divorced the ones with whom they had an affair after a relatively short time.
Face it. The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence. Once you get to the other side of the fence and look back, THAT grass looks greener because IT is now on the other side of the fence.
