The beauty of golden light
Reflecting off the river
Lulls you from the reality
Of the desecration of the water
By the toxic residue
Of the coal processing plant
Many a lover has cherished
This seemingly beautiful view
Beside the bridge of the river crossing
Ignorant of the effects
On their possible offspring
All that glitters is not gold
